Pros

I recently joined Thentia to work with new CEO - who I had worked with for a decade prior. I understand why he joined the company- the people here are wonderful and the product is cool - it truly is making government more efficient.

Cons

This is a time of transition - which is actually a positive for me personally, but I can understand how it would be difficult for those who have been here long term. It is a small company which means employees are expected to work a full workweek and wear many hats. Again - not a "con" for me - but for some.

Pros

The job offers interesting challenges. Some of the colleagues are competent and do their best with what they’re given.

Cons

The company is severely understaffed, and this directly impacts our ability to meet customer needs. We’re constantly pushed to deliver half-finished solutions just to keep the business going, which is frustrating and demoralizing. There’s a lack of communication from higher-ups, leaving many of us in the dark about key decisions that affect our work and customer satisfaction. Customer meetings are often tense because clients express extreme dissatisfaction with the solutions we’ve implemented—solutions that are incomplete or don’t meet their needs. It feels like management is more focused on keeping the company afloat than on providing quality service or improving internal processes. This results in a lot of unnecessary stress and constant firefighting, instead of having the bandwidth to deliver properly. Morale is low, and it feels like no one really believes the company is performing well. It’s difficult to stay motivated when you know the company is constantly struggling to keep up with customer expectations. The company appears very financially unstable with longtime members of the company being thrown overboard without explanation. It's clear this company is going nowhere.
