Pros
Free CEUs! Keeps up with current legislation and insurance requirements to make authorizations happen swiftly with fewer denials. Many long term co-workers, and those who have left to seek other positions always seem to come back here.
Cons
Shift to per unit billing has made time management/scheduling (especially afterschoolers) difficult at times, and decreased pay due to not being able to get as many units with certain patients due to attention/other disciplines in the home.
