Pros

The only redeeming quality of this place was its clients and your co-therapists who simply want to do good therapeutic work. It was a fantastic experience to see how not to run a mental health service and how to avoid being an unethical provider. They paid fairly well in the past but that changed.

Cons

The entirety of the organization is corrupt and unethical from an administrative standpoint. They have provided minimal client care efforts, misused financial and other personal information, stored PHI insecurely, and mistreated both clients and therapists alike (hostile workplace). Culture and values are touted as important and mainstays of the organization but in reality are a simple smokescreen. Work-life balance isn’t bad, honestly, except for the ulcers you get from dealing with management/“leadership” and their shady tactics with both clients and clinicians. Stay away from this place if you value your own skills, mental health, and have self-respect. Any positive reviews were most likely either created at a time when that person was in their “good graces” (a temporary status where someone is deemed “useful and thus praised or placated” by the company for a time until it has passed) or manufactured by the people claiming to be running the company at the time.

Pros

Growth opportunities, impressive admin team, knowledgeable owner, runs smooth like a high-class organization. Use modern tech and AI to help our clients, very mission drive company

Cons

Terrible former employees that stole from company, took advantage of team and owner, and clients (see previous posts, they are not true)

Pros

NOTHING. Micheal will tell you there are so many clients and give you an inflated number of pay and thats just not true.

Cons

Biggest con in Micheal “the owner,” he wishes he was just a secretary and didn’t want to fix things till its to late. He is negligent, incompetent, inappropriate and a manipulator. Works for a month without pay and where told it was due the clinicians incompetence when it was due to Michael’s negligence in responding to audit and submitting billing. Michael regularly would not check notes even when clinicians asked to go over that supervision. Supervision ended up being an hour or more of Michael talking at you about his own problems. Whether it was about his sexual assault or his trouble with substance issues or even his relationship problems. Most clinicians and staff have left the practice at this time and most have still not been paid in therapy insights and Michael refuses to communicate with any of them and just ignores messages and calls. Michael will hire new admin staff constantly and is even said he does not fire clinicians, he only fires administrative staff as a joke. Even though he claims this is an LGBTQ+ practice he will misgender staff members and out them to clients or other clinicians. Michael has an on again off again boyfriend that often times is a part of the practice while having no prior experience to working in an office or having any mental health training. His boyfriend will sit in on clinical meetings and will help excuse Michael’s inappropriate behavior. There was talk from many staff members that he was also inappropriate boundary breaking relationships with clients. Michael will often share his agreement in Zoom meetings and leave his text messages up where people have seen messages to him and the clients of the nature.
