Thanks for taking the time out to share this feedback with us. I value your input as a former employee. I am glad that you enjoyed working with the team and found the work-life balance here.
At the same time, I am sorry that your experience with the management of the company was not good. I would like to respond to the cons you've stated in your review.
1. As far as management of projects and procedures is concerned, we are highly focused on smart working. We follow Pareto's 80-20 principle, trying to focus on the 20% that brings us the 80% of the result. This means we have agile procedures in place and project management is done in a way that is efficient and customer-centric as possible.
2. As any other business, we do keep revenue among our goals. However, this has never been a priority over value or quality for me or my management team. In delivering value to the community, we have established an NGO that helps Python developers access knowledge and resources via code club and PyCon. All activities of the NGO are non-profitable and are mostly invested in by Thorgate. To deliver quality to our customers, we have a refined QA system in place which is reflected by the great feedback and reputation we've earned because of our partner companies that we've built products for. Personally, I have been acknowledged by the startup community in Estonia for my mentorship to startups.
3. Salaries in Thorgate are among the top 5% in Estonia making us one of the higher paying companies statistically.
I am sorry for the bad experience you have had. Nonetheless, your input matters to me as we strive to keep on making Thorgate a better place for our team, and a great product development partner. I wish you best of luck in your future endeavours.
