Pros

- Strong opportunities for junior employees to gain experience and contribute to larger client projects across a broad range of work. There are also some training opportunities, although both budgets and the time allocated for training are relatively limited. - Inclusive teams that do have people who are genuine experts in their fields. - Well-located office in Victoria, with good public transport links. - Hybrid working environment that is generally accommodating of personal circumstances. - Standard benefits for a company of this size (social events, a snack cupboard, employee awards, etc.).

Cons

- Salaries are relatively low, although broadly in line with the wider London marketing agency market. - Unpaid overtime is expected. Working weeks of 45 to 50 hours are common, despite contracts typically covering 35 hours. While this reflects standard industry practice, maintaining a healthy work/life balance over longer periods can be difficult. - Internal systems and processes can feel overly administrative and may sometimes hinder productivity. - Communication from management can be inconsistent, particularly around key team/business decisions, career progression and client briefs during busy periods. - The company works with clients in restricted industries, and employees are generally expected to work on these briefs regardless of personal views. - The company culture has become more corporate over the past year, with a strong focus on the adoption of AI, which may not appeal to everyone. - Employee retention has at times been a challenge, with relatively high staff turnover.
