Pros

Some of my fellow scam victims (colleagues) were pretty cool

Cons

If you are considering joining this company, then take this review as a message from above to run as far away as possible from this scam of a company. The entire premise of this company is that with a little bit of hard work and dedication, you will be your own business owner and essentially open up your own version of Thrive LA. You are being sold a lie. Your day to day will consist of driving to your designated territory somewhere in Los Angeles and going door to door trying to sell stuff to random businesses who have no idea that you will be showing up at their door and have no need for your product. In the unlikely event that you make a sale, your commission will be so low that you'll end up spending more than you make on the basic costs associated with being out all day (food, water, gas) and your paychecks will be miniscule. Everyone who I worked with was insanely broke. Thrive LA will pretty much hire anyone with a pulse, but their main target are naïve college grads, immigrants who are desperate for a job, or anyone else who is desperate for work. The business is structured so that any poor soul that joins will waste their time making a tiny amount of commission despite being out in the sun all day going door to door. However, the owner of Thrive also makes commission every time a sales rep makes a sale, therefore the accumulated commissions that all sales reps are making will be a decent number for him. Essentially, he is profiting off of everyone's hard work knowing full well that they are not able to make a sustainable living on their tiny commission. This wouldn't be the end of the world if it weren't for the fact that employees are lied to about commission averages and that opening their own office is a realistic goal. Everyone I worked with was fed the same lie, that they will start seeing big money if they just stick it out a little longer. This is so beyond false. It's insane how many young aspiring people have been totally taken advantage of over the years by this company just so the owner can make money off of them and continue to live in this fairytale that this is a real company. Every negative review that I have seen posted on Glassdoor about Thrive LA gets a super over defensive response from the owner filled with even more lies about average commission made etc. They just cannot accept their flaws. They have been gaslighting and misleading 100s of young impressionable people for years now and its honestly disgusting. Imagine your whole persona/the company you built being based on taking advantage of young kids fresh out of college and genuinely wasting their time/own personal growth/careers for your own benefit. I have literally seen people move across the country for this job because they were told that it was an amazing opportunity and there was serious money to be made. Imagine moving across the country to make petit cash and then realizing you won't be able to make your rent in this new city just because you got lied to about how much you'll be making. The fact that this is what they continue to do this for their own personal gain is absolutely gross.

Pros

People who work there (if not brainwashed) are good people

Cons

- This company is an MLM scam that will not serve your career well - They completely mislead about what the job is. You are going to be walking in the hot sun for 6 miles a day with an iPad, going door to door to businesses in a zip code to sell amazon business in a super sleazy way - I worked there for 6 months and I'm like 75% sure they have 0 ties to amazon - Parent company is Cydcor which is one of those devilcorps with awful reputations - CEO is a good manager for the devilcorp-like organization which is why he's an awful manager to work for. - You will not advance your career with this job literally just keep looking for a job if you are considering this job still.
