Pros

The back office support staff is intelligent, friendly and accommodating and the tech support is fantastic. Benefit options are excellent and reflect modern needs--especially the Roth 401k option. Supportive learning environment internally and generous tuition reimbursement program. Thrivent is a fraternal Christian organization and encourages generosity. Attempts to be forward thinking.

Cons

The commission structure changes regularly, as do the regional partners. New financial associates have limited access to non-Thrivent mutual funds. Spending time helping "the little person" is not rewarded.

Pros

Would have been a good opportunity IF it went through.

Cons

BEWARE! They do not disclose a very long and tedious interview process. 3 interviews with a post interview call. Background check, credit check, amongst multiple items to complete in portal. Many emails to respond to. Speaking with 4+employees throughout the process. Did NOT disclose that start date was 3 months post job posting.
