Pros
Good culture and the benefits are amazing. Thrivent really supported their employees during COVID. Managers are there for their employees and are very approachable. Employee engagement is not easy-especially during COVID, but the managers really try to keep employees engaged. Pay is competitive.
Cons
-Career development is very difficult. It’s primarily based on your years of service, rather than your competency. Just getting a phone interview is very difficult. -Calls can be very stressful and breaks are scheduled so you cannot step away from your desk without taking a “hit”. It’s a traditional call center job where you are tied to your desk except for your designated breaks and lunch times. -Systems are old and nothing talks to each other. You need several different systems just to do your job, and most of it is not automated, but could be.
