Pros

Not-for-profit organization that allows members (policy holders) to direct financial earnings to non-profits of their choice. Truly an organization that is focused on improving the community at large. Allows flexibility of schedule if needed and local partners are improving training for new associates beyond home office training. Home office tech support very helpful, as are most home office employees. No company is without their flaws, but the fact that this is a faith-based company, and we are encompassing all Christian faiths, is a huge plus for me!

Cons

This is a commission-based career, so once the training period is complete, it can be difficult to earn a paycheck the first year as you are building your client base. CA has stricter laws within the FINRA regs at times, so it takes new policies longer to pass compliance and be ready for client issue than in other states. Current technology is a bit outdated, but is currently in the process of becoming more "2015".

Pros

Would have been a good opportunity IF it went through.

Cons

BEWARE! They do not disclose a very long and tedious interview process. 3 interviews with a post interview call. Background check, credit check, amongst multiple items to complete in portal. Many emails to respond to. Speaking with 4+employees throughout the process. Did NOT disclose that start date was 3 months post job posting.
