Pros

If you are new to the IT field, this is a great place to get your foot in the door for experience. The wide variety of Clients they cover expose you to many different systems and applications. There is opportunity to move up through the roles to a certain degree. Fellow coworkers are always friendly and help each other out.

Cons

They ask you to manage and balance way too many clients for the amount of pay you are getting. There is a clear favoritism for moving up through the high paying positions. You get to meet new people all the time since there are interviews for new employees every week. The turnover is terrible because of management treating everyone like a number. The place is always understaffed and thus requires employees to work mandatory overtime and shift their schedules around to what management wants. Management has been the same for the past years which is why these problems never go away. Do not work the midshift as it is the most neglected shift for employees and will never be fully staffed. Management will not allow you to call in sick, request a day off, or even call in due to snow unless someone covers your shift first. After working here for almost three years, there are only two coworkers who had been there longer than me, which is sad. Management on the other hand is made of the same people from three years ago making the same poor decisions. The pay here is the lowest of any Helpdesk role in the area even though you service the most clients. Over the years, management has actually taken away more and more ammenities for the staff. Things that have disappeared that are not returning are: break room, couches to nap on, TVs, games, video game consoles, break PC station, cushioned chairs, hot water in the restrooms
