Pros
The actual work and day-to-day with your team and analyst/VP you are under is pretty great. You build real models, do actually valuable outreach, and get real knowledge and exposure to the specialized deals Tigbourne does. For that it is absolutely worth doing.
Cons
The Pros being said, you might have to meet with the CEO once a week, and he seems to be the driver of any negative complaints I can think of or that I empathize with in other reviews. That is, the proximity of his involvement in your day to day seems to dictate how negative your experience is. The vast majority of the people who work there are sharp and let you contribute to really valuable work. But when Buddy gets involved, he tends to drive interpersonal frictions with brazen confidence often absent of relevant context or relational finesse. While he is very efficient at communicating his current emotional state and the birds eye view of how he wants a project to go, he sometimes does not explain what he wants out of specific deliverables or interns, which can lead to the communication asymmetries explained in other reviews.
