Pros

The manager is nice and funny, great co workers.

Cons

Everything else. Pay vs workload does not match. You will be way overly worked and pushed to do more and more for zero additional raises. Once you mention something not being compliant or your swim lane, you are wrote off and treated horribly. They use being remote as leverage to not give pay or respect boundaries. Even being remote, you will never even get a moment to yourself because it’s that busy! When productivity is brought up of others, nothing happens. You can do triple the work of your counter part and still make less and they don’t acknowledge it.

Pros

The owner is passionate about what we all do to help businesses grow and thrive. He is considerate and kind and takes an interest in his employees. My coworkers are family, and my sales team is all close friends. Excellent access to training, certifications, and education. Workplace flexibility/workplace balance is fantastic, often unheard of at other companies.

Cons

It may be challenging to get to know other teams/departments outside of your team unless you put yourself out there and attend company outings and activities.

Pros

Low to mid level coworkers are great people that are always willing to assist when they can.

Cons

Some questionable, likely illegal business practices. Clients are led to believe they are in full compliance but they are not. Management is aware but chooses to do nothing. Management/executives are so disconnected and out of touch from what is actually happening it's astonishing, especially for a company of this size. The company makes no attempt to practice what they preach in terms of advice given to clients (succession planning, employee engagement, SOP's, exit interviews, how to attract/retain employees, company culture, employee morale, 360 degree reviews, etc.). They regularly make changes regarding processes, vendors, job duties, and more leading to constant confusion. They make rash decisions with little to no forethought on topics they know little to nothing about and never consult any employee that has knowledge or will be directly impacted. Typically this results in a number of issues that management opts to not address, leaving the employees to fix/figure out/deal with the consequences. Pay increases are virtually non-existent. Opportunities for promotions, the only way to acquire a real pay raise, are few and far between. Onboarding is non-existent. Training is non-existent. Off boarding is non-existent. Reviews are meant only to tell employees what they can be doing better. You will probably receive some type of positive reinforcement 1 or 2 times per year. The CEO is all but completely absent. He openly makes jokes about how he doesn't read emails from his own team. He spends more time vacationing with his assistant/mistress turned wife than working. But based on my interactions, his absence might honestly be one of the few positive thing this company has going for it.
