Sound people, very KPI heavy. - Sr. Recruitment Consultant Time Recruitment Solutions Employee Review

Pros

Staff are sound, even the directors are sound. Never had an issue with the staff or Office environment or culture.

Cons

Very KPI driven, multiple meetings a day. Sometimes 3 to 4 meetings a day. Very structured and not allowed to deviate away from the structure, a bit restrictive. Great for people new to recruitment, a bit odd if you have recruited for a while.

Pros

The job: Training programme is fun and engaging, management are aligned with it and very helpful once you are on the phones. The targets aren't too high and I hit it after three months. The progression structure is great. I went from £26K trainee to Consultant level 3 in 12 months and my salary went up to £32K. Hit my target 9/12 months. The environment: Fun place to work, everyone gets on. As relaxed as a sales job can be. Pool table, bar, lovely modern office. Location is great for after work drinks or food. Easy to get too. I have been on 3 company paid for events (summer and Christmas) and also 3 quarterly top performer events. Work pattern: Recently brought in working from home Tuesday and Wednesday if you're on target. I don't because I like the office but its handy if I need too. Hours are 8-5 which for recruitment is short and then 4pm finish on a Friday.

Cons

Parking in town is expensive but most people get the bus or tram as they stop outside the door. Lunch is 12 - 1 and I sometimes feel I force it down as I'm a late eater. (this is me being picky and probably would be fine for anyone else) Right next to the Christmas Markets which was good in some ways but made it super busy on lunch (again I'm being picky)

Pros

Business keen to make changes to improve retention. In my time, they've reduced working hours, introduced a L&D department and started offering hybrid working if on target.

Cons

As in any recruitment role there can be very high stress
