Work Environment & Culture - High staff turnover, indicating dissatisfaction and lack of employee retention efforts. - Casual swearing - Low team morale, feeling undervalued and unsupported. - Unprofessional management, with a lack of leadership skills - Lack of role clarity – Job responsibilities are unclear, leading to confusion and inefficiency. - Unfair treatment – Certain employees receive preferential treatment while others are ignored. - Unrealistic expectations – Employees are given excessive workloads without proper resources. - Employees don’t feel valued—you’re treated as just another number rather than a part of a team or mission. - No sense of purpose or connection—the company does little to foster teamwork, engagement, or a shared vision. - Favoritism & bias – Certain employees get special treatment, while others are overlooked for opportunities. - Lack of empowerment – Employees are micromanaged instead of being trusted to do their jobs. Leadership & Decision-Making - Does not lead by example – Management expects high performance from employees but does not set the same standard for themselves. - Inexperienced management team making major career-impacting approvals and then reversing decisions, causing confusion and uncertainty. - Team leader does not step in to support the team when understaffed or under pressure, leading to burnout. - Inconsistent decision-making – Managers change their minds frequently, creating confusion and instability and also moody behaviour. - Lack of accountability – Bad management behavior goes unaddressed, and there are no consequences for poor leadership Meetings & Communication - No sense of proper communications are done or are seamless between management team. - No exit interview and no farewell given properly. - Disorganized meetings, lacking clear agendas and structure, making them unproductive. - Unprofessional discussions during meetings, creating an uncomfortable or unproductive work environment.
