Pros

You learn how to put up with self-serving exploitative narcissists.

Cons

Usually, I'm not one to write scathing reviews; however, I couldn't stand being misled by the job description, and it felt rather cathartic to express my thoughts after enduring this experience for an extended period. This review aims to shed light on what the job truly entails (as they won't tell you), and I'll also list the reasons I hated this role and why you will too! Firstly, this is not a real job. You won't be an employee; instead, they'll force you to register as self-employed. Even though you have a boss and can be fired, you are not legally entitled to minimum wage. You will not make minimum wage doing this job and this is even before you take away the money you spent on transport, some weeks you may even loose money. Theres a clear misalignment in views at titan, employees are told they are valued and should be rewarded for work but don’t get half the pay or benefits a McDonalds worker would be given (They wear suits at titan though so that makes them better). A typical day begins around 9ish in the office, where you'll endure multiple unpaid meetings designed to create a facade of grandiosity and business acumen. These meetings are so repetitive because the employee turnover is incredibly high, basic sales topics must be covered regularly each week to get the new recruits up to speed. You'll only realize someone has quit when, weeks later, you notice half the office has been replaced. There's no typical office farewell gathering; your name will not even be mentioned. You are not valued as an employee. After the unpaid office session, you'll be grouped into teams and sent into "the field" around 12-1 pm. And this is when you'll finally grasp the reality of the job. It's essentially a door-to-door sales gig, where you're given a territory of about 200 houses. Your task is to knock on each door and coerce people into "donating to charity." Titan, on behalf of Britevox, will teach you manipulative tactics to extract money, like falsely claiming a great response in the area even when there are no donors yet. You're expected to speak to 100 people a day, meaning you'll knock on the same 150-200 doors multiple times (expect to be scolded by the Ring doorbell after the third attempt). You're in the field until 8:30 pm, and here's the kicker: if you make no sales, you earn nothing for a grueling 12-hour day standing up, thanks "Uncapped earnings model!" Even if you make a sale, you'll only receive half the payment upfront, and the rest comes after six months only if the person continues to "donate." The air quotes around "donate" are entirely justified because if someone donates for a year (which amounts to £120), you'll earn £35 for the initial sale and another £35 later if the person is still donating after six months (this time period is only extended when you consider the MD gets a cut too. Therefore, only after 6 months (probably more if including MD’s share) will the charity see any return on investment. How selfless. God knows you need the money more than those sick kids at Great Ormond Childrens Hospital. If you live close to central London, expect to get home between 10 and 11:30 pm. You'll have absolutely zero free time during the week—no exaggeration. In fact, there's even a documentary about this business model aptly titled 'The Slave Circle.' To top it off, managers will assume you'll work on Saturdays and act snarky if you dare to request some free time. Although the 1% can find success in the industry by exploiting workers and using an unethical MLM model to funnel money away from the charities that they so virtuously preach about wanting to help. They loose most of their free time (and soul) and are infact; not ‘their own boss’ - MD’s work for britevox. The only nice employees there were ignorant to the realities of the job, those who understood the realities of the job are people who would willingly exploit their colleagues and charities for financial gain and are pleasant only as a superficial requirement in order to keep you on their team so they can reach the next level of the pyramid.

Pros

Been working here for 2 years now, and one thing is for certain, everyday it keeps getting better! I didn't know that was possible with work 😂 You're learning how to build a business within the protection of an experienced business in the same industry with the same blueprint, with the support of an amazing environment and its people, the financial stability doing residential sales NOT on commission but on a BRAND AWARENESS FEE (thats goes up every year btw ;>) and the invaluable mentorship of the operating business owner Cameron Ives who has built and helped scale multiple businesses across the country soon to go overseas (LA here we come👀), truly about to go WORLDWIDE!

Cons

Not enough people to work with ALL the charity partners we have
