Very dark company nothing is clear, lots of lies

The engineering team I worked with was talented, collaborative, and genuinely supportive. I always felt like a valued member of the group, and the work culture among teammates was excellent. I enjoyed the projects I worked on, met all deadlines, and felt a strong sense of purpose in what I was doing.

Despite the positive working relationships and strong project delivery, my contract was not renewed after a 6-month trial period. The reason given was vague—something about performance not meeting expectations—despite never receiving any feedback or guidance that anything needed improvement. I even returned to work early from a serious injury and still delivered on time, which made the decision feel especially confusing and disappointing. The lack of communication from management about performance expectations or concerns during the entire period was frustrating. It came as a complete surprise to both me and my team, who were equally shocked and disagreed with the decision.
