- Culture of toxic positivity protecting an authoritarian leadership. - Studio figureheads avoid any accountability by ignoring problems and laying off scapegoats. - Absurdly inefficient work environment. Too many meetings, micro-management and lack of long term vision. There is a very low trust from leadership in employees making decisions and knowing what is best. - High rate of burnout in management roles. - Sub-par salaries, bonuses and perks for the industry considering how much revenue the company is generating. - Complete disregard for employee loyalty. No support for career progression resulting in almost no internal mobility, salary raises and promotions. Layoffs are very poorly managed. Many employees feel expendable. - Hard push for using genAI in every craft. Questionning this is very frowned upon.
