At this company, nothing is secure. Everything changes and it will change very regularly, including your commission pay, schedule, and honestly probably even your position/role. In the short time that I worked at this company (2 years), I had at least 6 different roles - taking on additional responsibilities without any kind of additional pay - in fact the last position I held, our commission got cut in half and we were still expected to take on a full time customer service role with a bright and shiny smile in addition to our current responsibilities. My schedule probably changed at least 6 different times in the 2 years I spent at this company - they do what they call shift bids and if your team is not meeting the sales quota, they would let other teams who have not been there as long take your spot and you your team gets bumped to another shift. This may not sound all that bad, but to put this into perspective; let's say you've been working here for about a year and you're getting pretty good at your job as well as your team, and then they throw 4 to 5 new people on your team and all of a sudden your group percentage goes down. Though your personal conversion either remains the same or even improves, the overall effort of the team has been dropping, your shift will get bumped not by a half hour, but by 2-3 hours. They do not care if you have a family or if you have to rely on this schedule. This company is also great at a lack of transparency and communication. Over time I got to a position that I was fairly happy at and really good at as well and our group was responsible for solidifying the sales. We got so good at our job that one particular carrier was going to pull out from our company, which would have been disastrous financially for this company as it is the highest producing carrier that this company offers, and we saved it. Our group got so good at our job that not only did we save a major carrier, we got other major carriers attention - so much that one of the leading giants in the health insurance industry starting considering working with us and putting together a contract so we could sell their products. Do you know how our group was thanked? You guessed, all our commission was cut in half - which means our earning potential was cut in half - which means our incentive to continue to work as hard as we did went away. Soon after that I left the company. I have story after story about how this company did so many of my fellow employees wrong. Long story short...this job is not worth the potential money you could make..shoot, it'll probably be cut in half anyway. If you're considering working for this company...don't. Trust me, you'll thank me. Just look up this company's lawsuit and that will tell you for yourself; their parent company is Benefytt Technologies. Scary stuff. Stay away from this company
