- Very high pressure
I expected this as the team was a revenue engine machine. This role is not for everyone and it does come with a high pressure to achieve our KPIs and deliver what our Brands' demands. The key is to make sure you overcommunicate internally and externally while managing the expectations. It's always better to overcommunicate than undercommunicate when you're in this kind of environment.
- Less work life balance
Honestly, it's the nature of the industry. If you want a good work life balance, you probably shouldn't apply to a tech/ecommerce especially in the team where you'd have to manage Brands. There'll be ad hoc campaigns and things come up where you're expected to respond. Unless you can really draw your boundaries and know how to communicate it well, you'll be struggling with work life balance.
