upbeat environment and enjoyable work space

Upper management micromanaged a lot making it hard to do your job properly.

They were very friendly and informative at the interview and initial hire stage.

The culture and overall environment was not what I expected. The computer systems are very antiquated, and there is excessive paperwork. It is difficult to get anything done because of micromanaging, forms, approvals needed, etc. Additionally, and, I believe, most importantly, is that there is much nasty gossip, particularly with the women. Some co-workers are very nice people. There were enough, however, who would spread nasty comments, about those who were trying to do their job. This is very toxic behavior.
