Pros
Excellent work/life balance (in my former position with the exception of the months following layoffs). Positive, talented coworkers. Generous vacation accrual. ORCA cards. Mostly quality products employees could easily get behind. Sample sales, company-alloted clothing allowances, discounts.
Cons
Zero chance for advancement/promotion in the majority of Creative. Pay far below Seattle standards; only bumps coming from non-guaranteed 2-3% cost-of-living increases or inconsistent small bonuses (based on pay rate). Muddy direction for the future. Last-second scrapping of long-view creative plans and campaigns; what felt like rash decision-making with little to no time to properly re-execute. Nepotism, obvious sexism, and pettiness on the part of management. Very poor creative management and extremely ineffective critiques. Empty praise and promises that never amounted to anything tangible. An HR department solely on the side of upper management.
