Pros

There are good co-workers and then there are Tomorrow.io co-workers. The company feels like one big team, everyone will do their best to help each other out. The employee benefits are great but it’s the overall compensation that’s lacking. If you see a problem you’re encouraged to take it on and try and find a solution. It’s a great company to make your mark and build your career in. The company vision is something everyone truly believes in and the collaboration and innovation is amazing to watch. They do a very good job of hiring brilliant individuals.

Cons

You won’t make above-market pay here. Backfilling often doesn’t happen and responsibilities get pushed to other roles without conversation or wage adjustment. For an 8 year old company there are some basic processes that are still not in place. Things can change quickly within the product and product release plans, but they aren’t always recorded so you never know if the information you’re working off of is out of date. There have been a lot of lay offs recently and not a lot of new hires which has caused stress and concern internally but management hasn’t addressed it.

Pros

The degree of communication, positivity, professionalism, and friendliness were as high as I've experienced.

Cons

I truly cannot think of a shortcoming, although I may be bias because I landed one of the positions.

Pros

Great salary Great camaraderie that included management

Cons

I was laid off after about 2.5 months, despite initially being told the contract was expected to be stable. My understanding is that the company restructured its approach to the contract, which resulted in my role being eliminated shortly after I joined. During my time there, workflows and expectations were often unclear or shifted as priorities changed. This made it difficult to get traction in the role and added a fair amount of uncertainty day to day. Based on my experience, I would be cautious if you’re specifically looking for a stable, long-term position, as organizational priorities appeared to change quickly.
