      Pros

      Very friendly and fun coworkers. The company really wants to invest in their employees, many of which started as a bank teller. They encourage employees to shadow people in departments and positions they’re interested in and have coaching sessions with new employees.

      The starting salary is pretty low

      Pros

      I have now been with Tomkins Financial for 5 years and I will say it has been a great experience. I believe leadership truly cares about the employees and provides opportunity for growth. The company also supports Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging. Along with being part of the Strategic Plan, there is a very active DIBs team (I am a part of) supported by leadership and a Social Justice team supporting the local community.

      Opportunity to be a decision maker. Responsible for all asset classes.

      Cons

      Challenging role due to wearing too many hats. Company has a track record of not promoting from within. High turnover.
