Pros
TTC is a good place to go to gain professional experience. I joined the team about two weeks after graduating college and learned a lot of valuable lessons about the professional world. Once you get a hang of the work it's relatively easy if not a bit monotonous, but I enjoyed my team members. After a few months I received a too-good-to-pass up opportunity and left TTC on good terms. Additionally, everything I learned about interview prep and what employers look for in candidates has been a huge plus.
Cons
The office setting is a little unorthodox and a lot of the work involves cold calling. Sometimes I felt like I was a pest to some of the candidates I worked with but that may just be the nature of the business. A lot of times the candidates you work with don't show you much respect which may be tough for some to swallow. The pay structure isn't bad and I probably wasn't there long enough to really take advantage of it's upside (commission), but it was a little frustrating that there were no benefits included (a small stipend was offered).
