Pros

There are very few pieces of my experience that I'd share as a pro.

Cons

As both an employer and and agency partner, TopFire Media must be avoided at all costs. The senior management and board of directors are among the most incompetent and dishonest individuals I've ever encountered, to both employees and clients. They make unforgivable promises, while promoting a culture of that dishonestly within when they fail to meet those promises. The leader of TopFire, specifically, is so out of tune with marketing as a whole, regularly throwing out fanatical claims to potential new business in order to line his pockets. His colleague and manager of partner agency iFranchise Group is no different, with principals rooted in 1980's marketing. Employees were regularly berated. The president of the agency never stepped in when there was blame to be had. Rather, he shuttered himself in his office and left his employees to pick up his mess. Worst yet, TopFire eliminated their entire staff recently to reconcile lost business. That marks 100 percent turnover in just the last 12 months. Currently, they are utilizing low-cost freelance employees with TopFire Media email addresses and outright lying to clients about their roles with the agency. Potential clients - please do not partner with TopFire Media. It is an irresponsible use of marketing dollars that can be better spent! Job seekers - stay far away.

TopFire Media is one of the top franchising marketing agencies in the nation and it is on the move! Moving, shaking and growing. It is built with a solid expert foundation that supports team members growth and collaboration. You always feel like you have a voice and can make a difference.

Cons

Franchising marketing is addicting and white glove service is a 24/7 job. It’s hard to to shut down.

Pros

-Flexible schedule -Very friendly staff -Great knowledge about franchising to receive from a few business legends. -Great portfolio builder -Great networking opportunities

Cons

-No promised contractual bonusing for Account managers bringing in new clients. -It’s a hotbed of liability -Requests for performance reviews being completely ignored on part of turnover and saving a dime. - No actual design team -No department heads -No true “production manager” ahead of deliverables. As an AM, you’re it. Good luck, stay disciplined. -Fly-by-night third party white label services -No plans to train incoming replacements so the weight falls on the AMs to show newcomers the ropes right now. It’s the company’s responsibility to train. -You can be the most skilled AM on the planet and feel your head spin in the disorganization of middle and upper management. The goalposts for process remain inconsistent. -Don’t be a sucker. There’s nothing to incentivize the really great employees. Your gift for good work is more work. No scaled compensation.
