Pros
I was in enterprise sales for topia from 2017-2018 before investors showed the founder/ceo the door, so *maybe* things can turn around there, but don’t hold your breath. Good base + ramp so if you need to score some money over 90 days it can be a decent move. Small sliver of equity that will never be worth anything.
Cons
One of the most radical leftist executive management teams in the valley. They make public statements on the reg that make it impossible to sell anything anywhere outside of San Francisco or Havana, Cuba. (Open borders, trump derangement, pro-abortion, etc...) exec mgmt so out of touch with the in the field reality of market perception, customer sat, value prop. Sales mgmt that’s never sold anything in their lives and will literally embarrass you in front of key accts in your territory like Exxon, Dell, shell, Jacobs, massive enterprise accts that you will have to continue to call on once you leave topia assuming your time there doesn’t ruin your career. Unbelievably toxic culture, meritocracy is a foreign concept, presales support is nonexistent. Total circus in all the worst ways.
