Pros

great technology intriguing (tough adversary) remote working Only anonymity network paying many developers

Cons

USA-based company makes people and company culture a bit conformist, which makes them more easily manipulated sometimes (can't elaborate, false agency backed campaigns to dishonor valuable members, other projects etc)

Pros

Meaningful work, not overworked, "flexible fridays" - 4 day work week (4 8s, not 4 10s), feel valued, feel safe, regular international meetups (at least once a year), very inclusive and progressive work place, minimal meetings

Cons

Despite not feeling obligated to "overwork", there is a long backlog of stuff to do that might encourage overworking one's self. Very cluttered calendar that makes knowing which meetings to actual go to harder than I think it should be. Slightly lower salary than "industry standards" (but not by a ton), but sorta expected given its a non profit org.

Pros

Innovator in quality of work options that I have not seen elsewhere: very generous benefits, excellent paid time off, flexible fridays, cares about employees. Open to feedback and improvements. Has code of conduct and enforces it. Not a toxic work environment, maybe it was 10 years ago, but those people were shown the door and the organization has a very positive culture now. A lot of really interesting technical challenges in an unique space. In-person meetings at least once a year. Important project with great values.

Cons

It is a non-profit, with limited resources so that can be frustrating at times.
