Pros

There is flexibility in making your own schedule essentially .

Cons

If I could give this company zero stars, I would. The biggest issue is the unrealistic workload. CCSs are expected to manage large caseloads, often between 30 and 40 individuals, while coordinating multiple teams, schedules, and locations. The amount of documentation required is extensive, and employees are expected to meet strict billing requirements regardless of travel time, mandatory trainings, audits, administrative tasks, or other non-billable responsibilities. One of the most frustrating aspects of the job is the amount of driving required. Clients can be located hours away, yet travel time is not billable. This creates a significant disconnect between workload expectations and the realities of the position. You are expected to bill 150 units roughly 37.5 hours each week hat is regardless of PTO or any time missed you are still expected to bill. They yap so much about medicaid fraud yet expect you make up billing notes for time traveled yes you will not be allowed to bill for your travel time and you can easily have a client 2 hrs one way making it a 4 hr trip , 4 hrs you cant bill for. They expect you to work additional hours you wont get paid for which is actually a dep of labor concern. Management and HR were, in my experience, unprofessional and inconsistent. There was very little opportunity for professional growth, unless you want to take on even moe work with mismatch pay its not worth it.. The company has a high turnover rate, and after working there, it's easy to understand why. You will feel it as your case load will flucuate based on people coming and going endlessly. You will be thrown last minute assignments that CCS who leave left behind. The starting salary of approximately $65,000 may sound competitive, but it does not adequately compensate employees for the workload, extensive documentation requirements, travel, and large caseloads. Mileage reimbursement also does not fully offset the amount of driving expected. You dont get to bill for first 30 miles and only 65 cent on the dollar. I would not recommend this company except as a temporary stepping stone to gain experience if you plan on cntinuing in this field. If you're considering this position, be prepared for heavy caseloads, constant audits, unrealistic expectations, and limited opportunities for advancement. HR and supervision team can and will be retaliatory , hostile and unprofssionl I cant stress that enough. They even have a bad reputation in the DDA community, when you tell people what agency you are with they always have stories.

Pros

High pay for a case management job, which is sad to say.

Cons

INSANE amount of documentation. The worst I’ve experienced. All they care about is billing, and they want you to have your notes in by the end of the day everyday. If you don’t, best believe your supervisor is writing or calling you first thing in the morning. You have to type a note (bill) for every single thing you do throughout the day (accounting for a full 8 hour day) while also getting the actual work done. And the amount of time that you say it took you to do a task in your note better make sense or you’ll be hearing about that too! If you don’t have anything to do, find something to do! Even if you have a meeting in the morning that takes an hour or so away from your day, that hour still has to be accounted for in your notes! I used to be up until midnight writing notes everyday. The absolute worst experience.
