Pros

I personally feel as though there are no good reasons to work for Total Care Services as a Coordinator of Community Services aside from receiving a paycheck in order to pay bills. Managements overbearing billing tactics sucks all the joy out of the actual work revolving around assisting individuals with Developmental Disabilities to have a fulfilling life.

Cons

*Extreme micromanaging from the CEO that is trickled down to Supervisors and Supervises. *Unattainable daily goal expectations of Coordinators of Community Services that can cause one to work more than eight hours a day. *No incentives and the benefits are not beneficial: Yes, on federal holidays Coordinators of Community Services do not have to work; however, Coordinators of Community Services are expected to bill/work more on other days throughout the month if there is a federal holiday. This also applies when utilizing sick time. The health insurance plans are extremely expensive. Mileage reimbursement is not calculated in "real time", and Coordinators of Community Services are expected to use only Mapquest and the "shortest route". No bonus for exceptional performance review. If you accrue "CompTime" within one pay period, than it must be used the following pay period. *ALL Coordinators of Community Services are paid the same salary whether you have a Bachelor degree. Masters degree, and ones work experience. *Billing triumphs quality of services. *Extreme high turnover. *The are restrictions on office supplies. *Too much negative energy.

Pros

High pay for a case management job, which is sad to say.

Cons

INSANE amount of documentation. The worst I’ve experienced. All they care about is billing, and they want you to have your notes in by the end of the day everyday. If you don’t, best believe your supervisor is writing or calling you first thing in the morning. You have to type a note (bill) for every single thing you do throughout the day (accounting for a full 8 hour day) while also getting the actual work done. And the amount of time that you say it took you to do a task in your note better make sense or you’ll be hearing about that too! If you don’t have anything to do, find something to do! Even if you have a meeting in the morning that takes an hour or so away from your day, that hour still has to be accounted for in your notes! I used to be up until midnight writing notes everyday. The absolute worst experience.
