Toward Independence Response
2yWe are sorry to hear about your experience with Toward Independence. We do not expect employees to make Toward Independence their first priority, but we do have an attendance policy to ensure the clients receive the best care possible and to ensure other staff do not need to cover shifts left open due to a call-off.
We take all issues concerning any issues with recreational drugs and alcohol very seriously and every employee regardless of position would be sent for drug or alcohol screening should any suspicions be reported to the HR department.
Due to being a non-profit, it is not financially viable to send people for random drug testing once a month. We do enforce drug screenings should suspicions be reported.
All of our Supervisors are built into the schedules and work directly with the clients. The Program Coordinators cover multiple locations and work hours each day with the clients. The Directors of each county also cover call-offs and work hours with the clients to ensure the client's health and safety. Unfortunately, you may not always get to see this as they are only one person and can be everywhere all the time.
We will use your feedback to try to improve and make the company stronger.
Thank you for all the feedback and all your hard work providing support to the Individuals.
