Pros

Flexible work schedule and can work from anywhere in the world. Coworkers are nice and helpful (excluding the CEO)

Cons

- Late with payments if you are working remotely. - CEO is rude in the little communication she has with you. She rarely says thank you and is never encouraging or appreciative of your work. - CEO will not only drop "urgent tasks" on you on hours when you're not working, but she will also ask you to figure out how to do tasks that are not in your job description. - You never really know if you're fired or not. If the CEO emails you saying that she will have more work for you "later", that probably means you're fired but she avoiding the confrontation in telling you so. She also goes through hiring phases and hires way more than she needs, uses them for work for a few months, then cuts off contact (her way of firing you). - CEO has her hand in every aspect of the business and doesn't trust her employees expertise, so you will be micro managed and not have any real freedom. - Pay is terrible and non-competative. No benefits offered.

There is no work life balance. The CEO will text you late at night or on weekends asking you questions and to do things. The CEO is a complete and utter micro-manager who can't delegate tasks. Any task you are asked to do will need to be thoroughly nit picked by her. But good luck getting any sort of response, because she doesn't ever come in to the office or respond to urgent matters. So get used to being stuck in the holding pen. There is also a completely absent co-founder who doesn't feel the need to introduce herself to employees, probably because they are constantly leaving or getting fired out of the blue. The only employee there longer than a couple years gets treated like dirt... not much to look forward in this company. This is a great product idea, but the company will fail because the CEO has no idea what she's doing and refuses to listen to anyone's ideas. Also, they have horrible internship practices. They hire tons of unpaid interns to generate content for them, whether or not the interns are getting college credit, which is illegal in the state of New York. They will also tell you the offer health insurance, but they won't tell you it's close to $400 / month. Beware!
