Pros

Basically, everything that Traba says about itself is true. It really is an ultra high performance workplace that asks a lot out of each person. It really is aiming for the loftiest of end goals, to be a trillion dollar business, and mirroring itself after early Amazon/Google/Uber/Facebook. It really is relentless about performance management and retaining top tier talent. It really does put its money where its mouth is when it comes to working to maximize financial and career outcomes for everyone who joins, esp at this early stage. As a result, it definitely attracts a type, and not everyone is that type, and that's okay. But as a consequence it's built a really unique team, and being around them is incredibly energizing. Everyone is talented, motivated, compassionate. It is NOT a cutthroat culture - people are deeply willing to help each other, and the in-person workplace reinforces these aspects. Akshay and Mike are sensible, smart leaders who listen. As a result, the business is growing wildly on extremely healthy fundamentals.

Cons

The time dedication is very real. I work 12 hours a day and add some time on weekends when I need to. The magic is that everyone in the company does, and that is what creates the success and the collaborative culture that we have. Fitness and exercise is deeply encouraged and a large portion of the team works out during the day on a fitness perk, and dinner stipends are provided daily.

Pros

- Exceptional ownership and autonomy. People are trusted to make decisions, drive initiatives, and have a real impact on the business regardless of tenure - the logistics and supply chain industry is so ripe for innovation. The work is meaningful and complex - Traba has evolved far beyond a staffing company. We're building technology products and AI-driven solutions that solve critical workforce and operational challenges for customers - Highly meritocratic culture. Scope, compensation, and career growth are driven by impact and execution, if you consistently deliver results, you'll earn more responsibility, opportunity, equity - Fast pace with ambitious teammates. The talent density is extremely strong - Strong exposure to leadership and company strategy

Cons

none - this is an unbelievable place to work if you are driven and want to solve hard problems

Pros

- High-impact work - Unmatched talent density — Traba is full of top performers who are genuinely some of the smartest, hardest-working people you’ll ever meet

Cons

- The hours are ridiculous (9am–9pm in the office daily) and expectations are high. It’s nearly impossible to maintain a life outside of work, especially if you want to succeed here - Leadership cares way too much about the number of hours you're clocking in the office — it’s bizarre & unproductive - Turnover is insanely high, and they make zero effort to retain top talent, even when the cost of hiring and training replacements should justify it — the product + business model are unnecessarily complicated & require a good amount of time to learn. Yet the company doesn’t invest enough in properly ramping up new hires to set them up for success. As a result, employees are often let go prematurely (also, arbitrarily) before they’ve had a fair chance to ramp up & prove themselves. - They also have no problem letting people go who've pretty much poured their entire lives to this company — people who’ve dedicated 60+ hours of their time & energy to this failing business week over week - Overall, the level of sacrifice required to work here is not normal & it’s hard to justify considering how low the pay is
