Pros

The office location is in SOHO

Cons

Hours are terrible. You'll be expected to work investment banking hours. When you break down your salary by hours worked, you're essentially working at minimum wage. Leadership is nonexistent, and there are no career growth plans. RUN FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

Traba Response

At Traba, we are committed to transparency about the dedication and effort required to build a transformative company. We acknowledge that our ambitious and high-energy environment may not be the ideal fit for everyone, and we respect those who seek different opportunities. However, we must clarify that this review does not reflect the experiences of our current employees and appears to be based on inaccurate information. Our leadership team is actively involved, and our employees grow very quickly in their professional development. Every single one of our employees has equity ownership in the company so they share in the upside, unlike banking or consulting. For those genuinely interested in making a significant impact and contributing to meaningful projects, we encourage you to meet our team and see firsthand what Traba has to offer.

Pros

- High-impact work - Unmatched talent density — Traba is full of top performers who are genuinely some of the smartest, hardest-working people you’ll ever meet

Cons

- The hours are ridiculous (9am–9pm in the office daily) and expectations are high. It’s nearly impossible to maintain a life outside of work, especially if you want to succeed here - Leadership cares way too much about the number of hours you're clocking in the office — it’s bizarre & unproductive - Turnover is insanely high, and they make zero effort to retain top talent, even when the cost of hiring and training replacements should justify it — the product + business model are unnecessarily complicated & require a good amount of time to learn. Yet the company doesn’t invest enough in properly ramping up new hires to set them up for success. As a result, employees are often let go prematurely (also, arbitrarily) before they’ve had a fair chance to ramp up & prove themselves. - They also have no problem letting people go who've pretty much poured their entire lives to this company — people who’ve dedicated 60+ hours of their time & energy to this failing business week over week - Overall, the level of sacrifice required to work here is not normal & it’s hard to justify considering how low the pay is
