Great place for growth - Associate Traba Employee Review

Pros

If you know what you're getting yourself in to (which you should, they're very transparent about it throughout the interview process and in online presence) then it's really a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to build something from the ground up. If you're looking for a straight-path to a cushy life, this is NOT it. But if you're willing to take the jump from the corporate slug to something unpredictable, challenging, and rewarding, then there's no better place

Cons

Hours are long, but the work truly is never done. Almost everything that's being done has no precedence, so the lack of playbooks, frameworks, and structure is definitely a double-edged sword. Typical startup politics, nothing different than any corp job though High attrition, also not atypical for fast-growing startups, especially one with a more intense, traditional startup culture

Pros

- High-impact work - Unmatched talent density — Traba is full of top performers who are genuinely some of the smartest, hardest-working people you’ll ever meet

Cons

- The hours are ridiculous (9am–9pm in the office daily) and expectations are high. It’s nearly impossible to maintain a life outside of work, especially if you want to succeed here - Leadership cares way too much about the number of hours you're clocking in the office — it’s bizarre & unproductive - Turnover is insanely high, and they make zero effort to retain top talent, even when the cost of hiring and training replacements should justify it — the product + business model are unnecessarily complicated & require a good amount of time to learn. Yet the company doesn’t invest enough in properly ramping up new hires to set them up for success. As a result, employees are often let go prematurely (also, arbitrarily) before they’ve had a fair chance to ramp up & prove themselves. - They also have no problem letting people go who've pretty much poured their entire lives to this company — people who’ve dedicated 60+ hours of their time & energy to this failing business week over week - Overall, the level of sacrifice required to work here is not normal & it’s hard to justify considering how low the pay is
