Cons
Salary only gets 80 hours sick that you never use because the balance between home and work does not exsist even though balance is one of their core values. It's a great part time job hands down. If you're full time, then you're expected to always put TSC above yourself and your family especially if you are store manager. It takes 5 years to earn more than 2 weeks vacation but expect to be interrupted during your vacation by your DM if you suddenly have an executive in the area. The pay is terrible, your offered just barely above state minimum for base salary pay even with years of experience whether internal or external. You do not get a lot of support from upper management. They expect you to figure it out and will hold you accountable if you don't succeed the way they want you to despite whether you reached out for their assistance or not. Its very political. They will always hold you accountable if a TM wrongfully accuses you of something. They believe in zero retaliation unless it's the SM getting retaliated against, then the SM will be held accountable. The DM will do whatever they can or have to do to cushion their pocket and protect their metrics and reputation with their RVP despite how unethical it may be or how hard you work to follow every policy, procedure, SOP, etc. They play favorites terribly and do not care about your growth and development. Once you climb the ladder to SM your careers dies there. Health insurance is god awful and terribly expensive. 401k is just ok. Nothing special.
