Pros
This is a great airline. As long as you follow the policies and procedures and love what you do - this is a great place to work. Flight benefits are standard and I used them quite often to travel domestically and internationally. Being a Flight Attendant you also get to take advantage of domestic jumpseat agreements which are great for a backup. Working alone on the aircraft brings its challenges, however, it makes you become a better flight attendant because you are able to be dynamic in many situations that arise. This airline is a great stepping stone. We have some great overnights! Some favorites are Santa Fe, Houston, Chicago, Louisville and so many more. The hotels they provide large hotel chains and are safe and clean. Training and lodging is paid and your uniform is also paid as long as you stay with the company for a year or more. Huge plus! Everyone is extremely nice out on the line. Many career advancements within the company such as training department and office work after about one year of employment.
Cons
Some people may not like the smaller regional aircraft with one flight attendant. They give the company a bad rap because they did not research fully what they were getting into.
Older, aging fleet, however, many are set to retire and we have a lot of newer E145s brought to us from Expressjet and Envoy.
Job security because we only fly 50 seat regional jets.
Reserve can be rough the first year because you are not allowed to pick up open time and you may sit for an extended amount of days waiting for a reserve assignment if you are a senior reserve.
