Tensions can arise simply because younger people haven't learnt to deal with stress and appropriate business manners yet. Too few people are role-models (perhaps because the high turn-over) and too many newbies make constantly annoying mistakes. If people only come because it's "a job" without having a true passion/motivation other than "it's my job" to come to work for every day, they burn out pretty fast and leave.
