Stay away from this company - Medical Transcriptionist TransPortal Employee Review

Consistent work load. Flexibility. Left alone to do my work. QA always available to answer questions. Excellent communication with management. Supportive, team-oriented atmosphere. They have been wonderful about keeping me busy. If I didn't "click" with an account, they were more than happy to train me on another until a good match was found. I consider myself extremely lucky to have found this company. I not everybody will have the same experience that I have had, but I would say that if you have an opportunity to get on-board with TransPortal, go for it and see for yourself. I have only good things to say about them.

As a work from home transcriptionist, it is hard to find a company that can provide a steady workflow, without overhiring. I worked as an IC for Transportal, and RARELY ran out of work. They were actually usually asking for extra help.

I think they only do IC status for medical transcriptionists.
