Pros

Flexible hours. Middle management really cared about it's employees, investors and most of all patients. Senior management unfortunately cared about nothing save for demonstrable failure and financial oblivion

Cons

If you've ever seen the turn of the century film "Boiler Room", then you know what life is like at transgenomic. Well, almost...TBIO shares all the illegitimacy of Boiler Room but without the financial success that came along with scamming people, places and other companies. “thank yous” are even too much to ask for weeks and months of hard work. When a company starts "securing" paper cups behind lock-and-key, you know things are getting bad. Travel bans on remote employees? Absent CEO? “things will get better” every month for 2 years. The list of impending doom flags goes on too long .This company is broke, way behind the liquid biopsy tech curve and will cease to exist in it's entirety within 6 month - 1year. If your reading as an investor doing research, keep your money far from TBIO. If you’re a prospective employee, chalk this place up to “something is better than nothing”—go with any other opportunity

Pros

Growing small company allows employees to map out their career and take on new challenges Family-like atmosphere; Family comes first Recent influx of new investors New management with new attitude

Cons

Small group of unprofessional, resentful employees not willing to change from the "old" way of running our business while we grow (see review from 2 weeks ago); thankfully they are being weeded out quickly Acquisition of new technologies and companies can cause issues with constant influx of new tasks, personalities, issues

Pros

Flexible schedule. Lots of employees set their own schedule/hours (some employees worked 4 - 10hr shifts). It's a perfect job for parents of young kids (who often get sick). No issues with sick time and/or punching a clock and being hounded for being 1 minute late. Incredible sense of autonomy (Employees are allowed to manage their every day tasks - no micromanaging)!

Cons

Pay is not very competitive, however, the position gives you the skills necessary to achieve a higher paying position at other companies. Ie, it's a good entry level position for new graduates who don't have any laboratory experience. Learn a lot and push yourself to do your best while you're there, and you can move on to other higher paying positions in a few years.
