Pros
TSG contracted me to another company, for the most part they leave you alone and let you do your job. HR is quick to address issues.
Cons
When I was in initial conversations with TSG for a contract role, I was told full 401(k) benefits, plenty of sick leave, immediate healthcare benefits, and competitive salary. Here's what happened:
- 401(k) doesn't kick in until a full year of employment
- Healthcare doesn't kick in for first 30-60 days of employment pending on start date
- No overtime allowed, I was making less than previous job
- Takes months to earn ANY paid days off, they do not pay earned ones out once you leave.
After I terminated my contract I received a call from a Senior Manager at TSG whom I never spoken to before. He proceeded to berate me that I was burning bridges and in his words "screwed us over". Also, the warned me "what goes around comes around". I found this extremely unprofessional and uncalled for.
For the almost year I was employed the contract company had been firing contract employees with impunity, I always knew any day could be my last.
