Pros

- Good stepping stone to stick with while you gain as much experience and knowledge as you can before moving on, or stay forever for the stability because they'll never get rid of you. - Great work / life balance. - Not stressful because you can do the bare minimum & never get moaned at. - Decent salary. - No real requirement to work from an office. - Annual review targets are set at the bare minimum so you can always "over achieve". - Free travel across London for you and one person living with you. - Flexible working hours.

Cons

- The "Keep London Moving" motto stands for your work processes too, meaning ways of working, templates, approval routes, everything is always changing and so much so that no Senior Manager can keep up either, so your company knowledge ends up being virtually the same as theirs rather quickly. - Little to no pay rises. If any pay rises happen, it's company wide & not performance based. Also always keeps inflation anyway. - Be aware of Pay Bands. Band 2 says "£42k to 55k" but the company have made it impossible to increase your annual salary without being promoted to the next Band. Doesn't matter how much work you put in. Band 3 is a massive jump £55k-£80ksomething, and the same applies while everyone sits on £55k. - Social events with work are virtually unheard of & no one likes making friends anyway so it can be lonely if you're an extrovert. - The company are trying to enforce people to return to office by trying to push 50/50 office commitments, but they don't have the office space. The "booking system" failed massively, so now it's a free for all / fight for a seat or go back home after having just traveled in. - Promotions are hard & management will make it impossible for you unless they specifically want you. If management do want to promote you, they can and will jump the hoops they previously promised wasn't possible to make sure you get the job. - Andy Lord sends out weekly updates every Friday in hopes to boost spirit or something, but his updates are just "me me me, look at me".
