Pros

They have free coffee and a pretty quiet work environment. Also, their marketing specialist is very kind, hardworking, supportive, and positive.

Cons

I worked here for two weeks and then was unexpectedly let go. I am not writing this post out of bitterness, but just to let people know what the atmosphere and mindset is here. - I was offered a competitive job--one that motivated me to move across the state for it. Good pay, great benefits, my own office, business cards, a title change from Administrative to Executive--all things I really liked. But I pushed aside the casual and unstructured nature of certain things, excusing it as the side effects of a small local business. I was wrong to do that. - They will let you go without any notice. The day before I was let go, they were assigning projects to me. They kept on saying to not worry too much about the first couple of weeks because they were going to ramp me up slowly. But then, I was told I was let go because I wasn't catching on fast enough while in reality I been eager for MORE work. - The owner is a roller-coaster of emotions. One moment he is very chill and down to earth, but then blames you for things you had no way of knowing. He will also criticize other employees in open areas and in front of other team members. - The atmosphere is unprofessional: they claim to want to work efficiently, but the leadership will not open itself up to change or improvement. - My supervisor (the owner) wasn't even the person who let me go. It was another employee (they don't have any HR staff). She even said to me that she didn't really know why he was letting me go. - It is a VERY negative environment. People don't look at problems as opportunities and are quick to blame other people. - They claim that the hours are flexible, that as long as you get the hours in and the work done, you are all good. But when I did this (and granted, I worked strictly 8 hours per day BECAUSE I didn't have a lot to do), they called me "part-time" as kind of a job/joke, and it made me confused and uncomfortable. Please note: I worked at a company before this for a year and was very successful there. It was a fast-paced, communicative, hardworking, cultured, professional company. This was the first time I've ever experienced anything like this.
