Pros

Absolutely nothing. Have you ever seen the movie Pinnochio? Things look great at first and then when they have you as a TreeFrog employee BBBBBBEEEEEWWWWWAAAAARRRRREEEEE!!!!!!

Cons

Extremely hostile work employment. Training and expectations were next to nothing from the beginning. No examples just a lot of hot air. If you like playing hot potato with reports this company is #1 wait a few months and then finally you'll get an example of what TreeFrog wants to see in a report. Oh I loved the hard work I put into the reports only to find out that they were wrong.

Pros

The best military coding company I've worked for. Support was always available. Found them to be honest and professional in all circumstances. Rare to find a military coding contract company which provides valuable and consistant training.

Cons

Can not think of a single Con. All of the company's staff at their home office are competent and go out of their way to assist coders in the field.

Pros

They do pay professional dues for their employees and provide continuing education opportunitites.

Cons

Small, woman owned company so you have what I refer to as "the hiring clutch" (i.e. friend nepotism) going on. "She" gets hired because the owner worked with "her" before and became friends, of course both were equally impressed with one anothers work however neither of them still work at the place where they met - how bout that. Owner's husband is on the board of directors so they can persue government contracts for veteran's preference. Few to no minorities in the workplace. During interview process MUCH innuendo to "we believe in awarding performance individually during the year" - Christmas bonus was post it notes. Management does much re-arranging of positions and titles - see first comment. Favorites are allowed to work from home/remotely. NO oversight of managers - they are allowed to set up their own fiefdoms and set up raodblocks between the management and worker bees. Of course with the 'friend factor" going on any complaints would be met with instant goodbyes anyway.
