Pros

TREK has a great company culture and is supportive of their employees. I have been given many opportunities to grow and get promoted. The work we do is meaningful, providing safe, and affordable and mixed income housing in communities where we strive to collaborate with residents for the benefit of all.

Cons

It's fast paced, which most days is good. But some days it would be nice to slow down. Working with people in difficult situations can be heartbreaking and stressful.

Pros

The people here at the corporate office genuinely care about the work and each other. Handling our growth can be a lot, but it's a great group who supports each other.

Cons

The healthcare benefits could be better.

Pros

There truly aren’t any to share

Cons

Leaders overall don’t know how to onboard and expect things to be done without mistakes. They use holiday pay and time off as leverage to “incentivize” us to “work harder” in filling the buildings - don't charge so much in rent and maybe people would want to live there! Several of us were also given additional work to do with very short deadlines and these things were well outside of our job descriptions. Not to mention we were not provided the training needed to complete the work properly. When not completed on time, we got into trouble with snarky comments via email. I quit without another job lined up because of how poorly managed this place is. They try to be nice to your face and act like they care, yet they make you work 6-7 days a week and threaten time off behind closed doors. NO THANK YOU. I decided to finally write a review because I found a new job they can't push me out of and heard they are doing the same thing to employees currently (they forget that some of us are still friends with each other). It’s a stressful place and I couldn’t wait to get out.
