One of the worst layoff scenarios I can imagine. Handled terribly and without any respect. No notice or information was provided. Laid off with 1 week per year in severance, even though I was less than 2 weeks from another year, wouldn't give another. Immediate end to health insurance. Provided no information to why they were doing layoffs and treated me like I was nothing more than a number to them. I cannot state this enough, if they have a hint of financial issues, you are nothing more than an expense to them. Your life and well being do not matter. Also, not really possible to advance within the company. 99% of the people will just always be whatever they were hired in as.
