Pros

When I explain my job and this company to others, it often comes across as too good to be true. Not only is Tremendous a profitable and growing startup without outside funding (and therefore, without outside pressures), but it's also full of smart, fun people who care about one another and the work they're doing to keep the culture and company going strong. Then you layer on above-market pay, twice-a-year international offsites, being fully remote with flexible hours, a low meeting culture, and a good work-life balance? It's next level. I have a hard time imagining a better place to work.

Cons

Some may view a few of the startup-y aspects as negatives. There's not a lot of hierarchy or clear paths of advancement, since teams are relatively small, and the standards are higher than most larger companies. It's not an "easy" job by any means, but definitely one that's worth it.

Pros

Tremendous is extremely intentional in their hiring, and leadership trusts their employees' judgment to get the job done. The fully-remote culture allows us the flexibility do our best work, and having a bunch of smart people working together helps to drive rapid innovation. The company-wide off-sites provide an opportunity to connect with coworkers that you wouldn't interact with in the day-to-day. Leadership is honest, transparent, and very effective in communicating their vision and excitement for the future of Tremendous. Working at Tremendous has been a breath of fresh air

Cons

No cons that I can think of! Tremendous is a great place for talented people who are motivated, hard-working, and autonomous.

Pros

Tremendous does an exceptional job of balancing collaboration and independent work. The company is still small enough that you can know who is who, build connections, and feel part of a team that is all working towards the same goal. Despite being remote (which is my preference), I do not feel like I'm missing anything or on an island. Along with that, they operate in a low meeting culture, which to me shows respect for people's time. It also signals that they don't want to do things just to do them, but instead want to focus on impact and making the best use of everyone's time. They aren't anti-meeting but understand that conversations can sometimes be more productive async than live. That said, anytime I've needed to chat with someone live it has been warmly welcomed. Management and Leadership are humble, clearly care about their teams, and are in the know. They give their employees space to do their work while also being there to support if needed.

Cons

No cons - it is truly a great place to work if you like being remote, working collaboratively, appreciate autonomy, and enjoy the start-up life.
