Pros

-Large company, strong player in an oversaturated industry thanks to leadership and strength of R&D -The people are kind, helpful, collaborative and a joy to work with -The company invests in your growth, I was encouraged to pursue certifications to strengthen my skills and help me with my career. The company paid for me to get these certifications as well.

Cons

-THE PAY SUCKS, recently two positions in marketing were posted and the compensation was well below the market average. When this was raised to the hiring manager, they confirmed that Trend does NOT do across the board raises to match the market average. I honestly do not understand how a company with such strong financial performance cannot afford to pay their employees what they're worth. Once I moved to a new role, I made a 30K raise, plus bonus, plus equity. I raised the poor compensation to HR in my exit interview and was told again "Yes we understand Trend doesn't pay well but we compensate with great benefits" I will say that the health benefits and other benefits were the absolute best compared to other places I've worked (including the new job I moved to after Trend), but unless I have family money or a partner that makes much more than me, Trend was not a place I could stay long term. - There are employees who have been at the company 25+ years because the organization and the team are great, however this means there's not really much room to move up or around.

Pros

Incredibly talented colleagues Fast-paced with endless opportunities to learn up and coming technologies

Cons

Extremely cliquey. Inexperienced director level managers. Lack of clear guidance from leadership on company goals/priorities. Non-existent onboarding. No defined personal KPIs or 3-6-12 month in-role wins/expectations. Messy. Just plain messy.
