Pros
Great opportunities to interact with all departments. Everyone is really friendly and fun to work with. C-suite openness to speaking with everyone directly at any level. Very rare. Great for learning about working in the tech industry. Management was open to some new ideas and changes in marketing ideas. Trenton Systems appears to be growing, though it doesn’t come without some shakiness. Work life balance was great, if you allowed yourself to put away work when it’s time to clock out.
Cons
Very weak culture and diversity initiatives. C-suite is fearful at the idea of remote-work. No one in sales or marketing should have to show up every day to an office. Pay and benefits are significantly lower for entry level roles than what you can find in other tech companies. Fewer opportunities for growth than other companies. Tampering with social media content has happened from other departments. Posts promoting Pride and LGTBQ community were removed on *multiple occasions* out of fear that it wouldn’t align with their customer base. Boy’s Club energy.
