Pros
The company as a whole I feel like is a great company, speaking with home office is in Alabama and you speak to an assigned underwriting team. I believe the job is what you make it, after working for another insurance company and moving over to Alfa you realize how great Alfa really is. The agent you work for makes a world of difference. I hope to become an Alfa agent one day here in Georgia.
Cons
Even though you're licensed through the state you have to go to "Alfa School" to be able to sell products through Alfa. Alfa has very strict underwriting guidelines and it gets frustrating at times because you cant write somebody because they do not look good on paper but they would be great clients.
