Overall good, but big areas of improvement needed. - Anonymous Tribe513 Employee Review

Pros

Company culture is overall great. Lots of events and fun activities throughout the year, especially the holidays. Most managers are good. I would say this varies drastically by location, though. I think C-Suite and HR are overall good and have the company's best interest at heart.

Cons

Pay and benefits are not competitive, to say the least. We have been told throughout the years that these things will get better with time, however I have not seen any real movement towards that. In this economy, it feels like most cannot afford to thrive (or live) on these wages. Many love working here, but culture doesn't pay the bills. Another con is limited room for growth. This can change depending on your department but most people hit their ceiling in 2-3 years. Most senior leadership has been at the company for many years and will probably stay for many to come, which can limit room for growth. The company is opening new offices frequently and sometimes it feels like bad business. I wish leadership would focus on compensating their existing employees rather than opening new offices every 6-12 months.

Pros

Tribe definitely has a vibrant culture. Lots of great employee activities and plenty of fun to be had. While no longer a start up they have retained a lot of that new company energy which is a lot of fun.

Cons

The pay is very poor and it seems like it could be better if positions were managed better. There were some positions that did not seem necessary or that could be streamlined to be more efficient leading to more people being hired than may have been necessary. Pay was categorically low across all positions from what I understood.
